

SHREVEPORT, LA – Services to honor the life of CMSgt. Jack Dean Warner, USAF, Retired, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Harrell Shelton of Airline Baptist Church. Interment, with full military honors, will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday evening between the hours of 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
CMSgt. Warner was born on June 9, 1935, in Alden, Iowa and passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 16, 2013. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and retired as CMSgt. Jack was also a member of the Chief Chat Club.
CMSgt. Warner was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Ruth (Olsen) Warner; and his son, Gene Daniel Warner. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 59 years, Mrs. Darlene (Harding) Warner; sons, Scott D. Warner and wife, Sharon, and Terry D. Warner and wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Jaimie Mercer and husband, Andrew; Julie Warner; Bradley Warner and wife, Cortnie; and Nathan Warner; great-grandchildren, Albany Clara Mercer, Brice Warner, and Brayleigh Warner.
Serving as pallbearers will be members of the Patriot Guard Riders.
Honorary pallbearers are Walt Buckmaster, Robert Way, and Jim Vanderberry.
