Jim proudly served in the United States Air Force with honorary discharge. He was a master leather craftsman. He was a past time member of Doyline Methodist Church and presently a member of Benton United Methodist Church, holding many administrative positions with each church.
His most prized possession, undoubtedly would be his family. His traditional Sunday dinners with his family were always the highlight of his week. He enjoyed the full family during holidays as well as playtime with the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
