

James Fiorentino, born on September 11, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA, passed away on January 14, 2026, in Bossier City, LA, at the age of 83. He was the beloved son of Nicola Fiorentino and Gloria Santa Fiorentino, who preceded him in death. James was also preceded in death by his sisters, Marion Borzone, Carmella DiGuglielmo, and Nicolina Fiorentino Phillips; his brothers, Salvatore Fiorentino and Dominick Fiorentino; and his brothers-in-law, Earnie Cinaglia, Don DiGuglielmo, and Sammy Phillips.
James is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Rosemary Quinn Fiorentino. He is also survived by his daughter, Rosemary Root and her husband Joel Root; as well as his grandchildren, Rebecca Rose Meehan Reeks and her husband Michael Reeks, (Jay) John James Meehan and his wife Delilah; and great grandson, James Aurelio Meehan.
James Fiorentino dedicated his life to defending his country in the United States Air Force, serving with distinction on several overseas deployments. After his military service, he worked for Sportran for over 20 years.
Following his retirement, he developed a passion for the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. Above all, he adored his wife, who completed him. He had a great sense of humor, often telling jokes and playing with the neighborhood kids and making a popsicle tree that lasted for years.
Services will be held for Mr. Fiorentino 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Hill Crest Memorial Park with Father Fidel Mondragon officiating. The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM until service time in our chapel.
James will be remembered for his dedication, service, and love for his family.
