SHREVEPORT LA- Celebration of Life services for James William McGinty, 62, will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Centuries Memorial Chapel at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Robert Goetjen officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
James was born on February 12, 1951 in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed on July 22, 2013 in Shreveport, Louisiana surrounded by his family. James worked for Tristate Optical for 16 years as an Optician. He later went on to be a car salesman. He was a resident of the Guest House in Shreveport for four years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis G. McGinty. He leaves behind to cherish his memory; his mother, Donnie Barnett McGinty; a son, Jared McGinty; a daughter, JoAnna McGinty; two sisters, Peggy Meshell and husband David, Ronda Robbins and a brother, Louis McGinty and wife Glenda.
Honoring James as pallbearers will be, Terry Lewis, Trevor Lewis, David Lindberg, Richard Brazzel, Shane Brazzel, Wallace Irvin, Curtis Ratliff and Jerry Addison.
