Graveside services for James A. Shaver,Sr., 81, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at the Hill Crest Memorial Park, with full military honors. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home.
Mr. Shaver entered into rest August 8, 2010 at his home in Princeton. He was a retired Chief Master Sergeant with the
United States Air Force, and a resident of Princeton since 1955.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Shaver and son, John Shaver.
Survivors include his five children, Liz Dunfee and husband John of Haughton, LA; Annette Scarsdale of Haughton, LA; James Shaver,Jr. of Princeton, LA; Evelyn Farrington and husband Rodney of Haughton, LA; Donna Milner and husband David of Princeton, LA; brother, Glenn Shaver of Kannapolis, N.C.; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
