Janie Bell Hayes

Services for Janie Bell Hayes, 77, will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.

Janie was born on April 21, 1941, in Winnfield, LA to the late Odus and Lillian Fox and passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 30, 2018.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Wayne Hayes; sister, Joy McGillivary; brother, Julius Ray Fox; and her parents.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Cecil "Buster" Hayes and wife Rhonda; brothers, A.J. Kennedy and James Fox; grandchildren, Dustin Hayes and fiance' Danielle Horton, and Cecil Hayes, Jr.; step-grandchildren, Jamie Land, Alicia and Randy Lemoine; great-grandchildren, Leland and Dalton Hayes, and Korbin Horton; and step-great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Lemoine, Jakob McCarty, Bentley Ruthardt, and Mattie and Leighton Land.

Pallbearers are Paul Gallagher, B.J. Kennedy, Justin Haag, Blake Berry, Jakob McCarty, and Cory Dale Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers are Justin McCarty, Roy Hayes, and Shawn Fox.
