Jerry Glynne Madden

Services for Mr. Jerry Glynne Madden, 69, of Haughton will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Thomas Patton, seniors' pastor of Cypress Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Hill Crest Funeral Home.

Mr. Madden died Friday, September 3, 2010 in Bossier City following a lengthy illness. He retired as Deputy Chief with the Bossier City Fire Dept. after 33 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie Clyde Madden and Lillie Mae Moseley Madden, one sister, Carolyn Madden Brothers and one brother, Donald R. Madden.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Claudie R. Madden, one son, John Stacy Madden and wife Kelli of Haughton; one daughter Melissa Madden Cathey and husband Clayton, of Bossier City; grandsons Seth Madden, Kade Madden, Matthew Cathey and Logan Cathey and granddaughter Kaleigh Madden, one brother Gene Madden, of Benton and one sister Micki Madden of Haughton.

Pallbearers will be William Brothers, Jr., Douglas Brothers, John David Porter, Rodney Madden, Colton Madden, and Josh Brothers.
