Jim Waters

KEITHVILLE LA – A memorial service celebrating the life of Jim Wesley Waters, 47, of Shreveport, will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home on Highway 80 in Haughton, Louisiana on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Craig Johnson officiating. The family will be receiving visitors from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday October 6, 2012 at Hill Crest Funeral Home.

Jim was born August 16, 1965 in Shreveport and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 surrounded by family and friends. Jim was a loving brother, son, father and grandfather. He loved being outdoors fishing, camping, and listening to music.

Jim was preceded in death by his twin brother, Jay Leslie Waters, brother Randy Carroll, brother Jerry Wayne Waters; his sister, Georgia Carroll McKinney; parents, Jessie Golden Waters and Peggy Faulkner Waters.

Jim is survived by his daughters, Ashley Waters Burtness, Angel Waters, and Randi Waters Conly, and by his son, Brandon Waters. He is also survived by his seven grandsons, Trystan Vasquez, Devon Burtness, Dylan Burtness, Gage Conly, Logan Conly, Braydan Wise, and Ryder Wooldrige. He is also survived by his brothers David Waters, Steve Waters, Danny Waters, and W. Otis Carroll and his sisters Judy Waters Tisdale and Patricia Carroll Townsdin. Also surviving Jim are his special nephew and niece, Mike Saunders and Whitney Saunders Williams, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
