

DALLAS - Jimmy Edward Wren, 84, died unexpectedly on October 31, 2021 at a Plano Hospital. He was born on August 26, 1937 in Coushatta Louisiana, the son of Bud (Edward E) and Claris Wren of Bossier City, Louisiana.
Jim had a successful professional career with over 40 years in banking, including Human Resources, Operations, Cashier, Internal Consultant at Oak Cliff Bank, Town North National, First Hutchins Sealy in Galveston, ultimately retiring after 20 years As Vice President, Retail Banking Center, Dallas - Bank of America.
Jim was generous with others, often paying for a stranger’s meal or giving sentimental gifts to family members. He was also a great story-teller. Many of his life events (including meeting Elvis) and stories will be remembered and relayed for years to come by friends and family who loved him dearly.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Frances Oleta Case, brothers, Donald Wren; David Wren; one daughter Tamela Wren Alexander; Son Jimmy Edward Wren, Jr.
He is survived by Daughter, Aimee Nicole Young, Son-in-law Cale Young; Grandchildren Britton Young, Corbin Young, Marin Young, Lindsay Lewis, Aaron Alexander, and great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service on Friday, November 5, 2021, at 11:00am at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
