

She was born on August 08, 1944 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Wendell and Janie Barber.
Judy retired as a registered nurse and worked in many places in the Shreveport-Bossier area, where she touched many lives through her nursing care and servant leadership. She enjoyed scrapbooking and spending time with friends and family. Judy enjoyed her last year of life, after moving into the Blake, where she made several good friends and became an avid Rummikub player.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ray Barber; husband of 28 years, Wayne Morgan; grandson, Dyllon Baker and great-granddaughter, Landry Reese Jones.
She is survived by her children, Vikki Reed (Jason), Ronna Andrews and Scott White (Sharon); children by choice, Gail Rinchuso (Chuck), Teri Rhodes (Dusty) and David Morgan (Jana); devoted sister, Tonya Green (Larry); grandchildren, Kim Guerra (Frank), Chris Andrews (Corissa), Courtney Jones (Casey), Logan Stroud (Brandon), Jordan White, Ashley Mayfield (Justin), Jay Stephenson, Nikki Reed, Morrisa Nehr, Josh Pilkinton (Laura), Matthew Rhodes (Katie), Morgan Jones (Pat), Mason and Leslie Cate Morgan; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Mateo Guerra, Ariana Crouch, Aiden Andrews, Jameson, Hallie, and Liam Jones, Ronan Stroud, Jaxson Barclay, Walker Matthews, Lily Nehr, Colton Ray Reed, Olivia Nehr, Nolan Mayfield, Presley Pilkinton, Eli and Ava Kate Rhodes, Merritt and Reed Jones; numerous nieces and nephews who will miss their Mimi JuJu, and a host of dear friends.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 06, 2023 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel at 2:00 pm with a visitation from 1:00-2:00 pm. Dr. Gevan Spinney will officiate.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Highland Hospital, the nurses and medical staff of 6KW at Ochsner's, St. Joseph's Hospice, and the countless friends who have provided a wealth of love and support during our precious Mimi's final days.
