Judy was a faithful Christian and a member of Bellaire Baptist Church. She loved her church family dearly and was a wonderful mother to her children. She worked and retired from the Bossier City Water Department.
Judy joins in Heaven her parents, Dennis W. and Mary Etta Dowling; and sisters, Vivian Pugh and Mary Lee Vickery.
Left to cherish her precious memory is her son Kenneth Harris and his wife Sandra of Benton LA; daughters, Cindy Foster of Bossier City, LA, Kelly Jones and her husband Rickey of St. Joseph, LA; former husband Jerry Harris and his wife Helen; sisters Alice Spies of Woodsboro, TX, Nita Meissner of Woodsboro, TX; and brother, Dennis W. Dowling Jr. of Baytown, TX. Also left to cherish Judy’s memory is a host of nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, as well as her loving church family.
Pallbearers for Ms. Harris will be Randy McBride, Kenneth Harris, Joshua Harris, Zachary Reed, Kyle Turner, and Marshall Thomas Foster III.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Christus Hospice for their loving care provided to Judy and those closest to her.
