She was born in Winnfield, LA on October 29, 1953 to Billy and Hazel (Taylor) Poisso. Heaven gained a wonderful nurse, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Kathy worked for many years at both (formally) LSU Shreveport and Cornerstone Hospital in Bossier City. She loved time with the grandchildren, shopping and socially meeting with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Clawson, Sr. and her parents, Billy and Hazel Poisso.
Kathy is survived by her children, Christina Clawson, Mark Clawson (Steven Igisaiar) and Stephanie Isaacs (Mike); grandchildren, Marissa Clawson, Adam Khan, Thad Clawson, Megan Heman, Tanner Isaacs and Noah Isaacs; great grandchildren, Jaycee Hunt, Jonah Hunt and Lily Herman; and sister, Pam Neighbor (Roy).
Services will be held to celebrate Kathy's life at 3:00 pm on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends at 2:00 pm until service time.
