Kevin entered the arms of Jesus at his home on Tuesday, May 06, 2025, surrounded by his loving family after a long and painful battle with cancer. He fought with unwavering strength, faith and courage – never giving up, never losing hope and never ceasing to love those around him.
“Jesus, Danna, family, hunting and fishing” would be the things Kevin would tell you that he lived for. Kevin spent countless hours on the lake or deer hunting with Kyler, Josh, Christian and Sam and literally anyone else that would go with him. You would find him hidden in a duck-blind with Kymberlie from the time she was big enough that he thought she could sit quietly. Even when he realized that would never happen, he took her anyway. This was their time together. Teaching his grandbabies to fish and camp was another of his favorite pleasures in life. Kevin had a natural love for anything “outdoors” and would always jump at any chance to go on an adventure with Dannielle, especially those where he could use his skills as a master diver. They went on many great vacations and made tons of wonderful memories together.
Kevin graduated from Airline High School in Bossier City and immediately joined the workforce. He was known for his vast knowledge of anything with a motor. This is why he spent the majority of his life under the hood of a car at his family owned and operated business K & D Automotive. After twenty years, Kevin and Dannielle decided to close up shop and Kevin went to work for Moseley’s Wheel Alignment, where he stayed until it shut down. He then became self-employed once again and worked from his at home shop until the very end. Kevin made life-long friendships with his customers over the years and truly loved them.
Born on February 24,1967 to Sarah Jane Rader Chustz and Tillman LeMay, Kevin would later be adopted and raised by his loving daddy, Daniel Hill. Kevin’s family was his greatest treasure. He is survived by his beloved wife of 19 years, Dannielle Fory Hill, who stood faithfully by his side; mother Sarah Chustz; daughters Kymberlie Fitze and Dixie Keel; son Kyler Keel (Miranda); siblings Tony LeMay and Tonya LeMay Reaves (Kenny); father-in-law Timothy A. Fory; mother-in-law Becky Nelson (Rich); sisters-in-law Kristy Leroux (Michael), Tara Nelson, Ashley Guidroz (Matt), Kayleigh Nelson; brothers-in-law TJ Fory and Corbin Fory (Leah); grandchildren Klayton, Maisley, and Brixton Keel; special grandmother Emma Fory and partner in crime, BFF and brother Sam Byrd; his most loyal canine companion Hank; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
Kevin was preceded in death by both of his dads, brother Christopher Hollis Hill, Uncle Daniel Fory and grandmother Adell Carrie Rader.
Pallbearers will be Sam Byrd, Ben Gray, Joe Harper, Kyler Keel, Rusty Grantham, John Meyers, Christian Stevens and Josh Stevens. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Day and Dewayne Sams.
The family would like to thank the staff at Passages Hospice in Minden, LA for their compassion, care and commitment to the finest care we could have asked for and a special thank you to Becky Swain for her gentle kindness.
