Kolbe was born in Tacoma, Washington on May 20, 1993, and went to his eternal home in Heaven on Sunday, March 5, 2017. Kolbe’s kind loving spirit, encouraging and loyal personality, and his desire to spend time with friends and family will always be remembered. Kolbe always had a smile on his face, a joke on his lips & lots of love for others in his heart.
Kolbe had a love for golf, the outdoors and an extreme love for duck hunting. He graduated from Haughton High School in 2011. He was awarded a full baseball scholarship to Panola College where he earned his Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice. He continued his baseball career at The University of Arkansas Monticello earning his Bachelor Degree. Kolbe was employed at Champion Electric under the guidance of a special mentor, Stacy King.
Kolbe is survived by his loving parents, Denny Schufft and Kelli Schufft of Bossier City. His dad was his biggest fan, coach and hunting partner; while his mom was his rock and voice of reason. He is also survived by his sister, Tyler and brother, Kade, along with his best friend and loyal companion, Chief. Paternal grandparents, Roy and Kathy Schufft of Benton, Maternal Grandparents, Winston Loe of Sibley and Anne Loe of Haughton. Kolbe will be greatly missed by his Aunts, Uncles and many cousins. Woody and Tara Loe of Saline, Kristi and Brandon White of Haughton, Kari and Mikey Whitlow of New Braunfels. Harli Camp, Jase White, Kourtney Loe, Blake Leggett, Kyleigh & McKenli Whitlow, Payton & Tanner Blalock. Kolbe was extremely close to all of his family members, and they were always there to support him on and off of the field.
Pallbearers are Brandan Behrendt, Hunter Bland, Cody Boyd, Tyler Breed, Cody Davis, Brendon Kelley Garrett Seals and Seth Tilbury.

Kolbe’s life will be celebrated with visitation Thursday, March 9th, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Haughton. The funeral will be held on Friday, March 10th at Eastwood Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. with graveside service following in Hill Crest Memorial Park.
