SHREVEPORT, LA – Services for Lane Ray Foster, 82, will be held on January 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Hill Crest Memorial Park with Bro. Billy Pierce officiating. The family will receive visitors from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Hill Crest Funeral home.
Lane was born on August 20, 1932 Ashland, Louisiana and passed away in Shreveport, Louisiana on January 9, 2015. He served his country proudly during the Korean War serving on the USS Bremerton. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tandy and Ola Martin Foster; sister, Barbara Hill; brothers, Lloyd Foster; Lora Foster; his first wife, Dorthya Ann McCain Foster; his second wife, Georgia Foster. He is survived by son, Dennis Foster and wife Debbie; daughter, Denise Lewis and husband Robert; grandchildren, Michelle Lancaster and husband Rick, Robert "Bob" Lane Lewis and wife Janet, Ryan Foster and wife Leslie and Amy Robinson and husband Jason; 8 great-grandchildren and a sister, Margie McCain.
