Mom found great joy in cooking and baking. Family and friends especially looked forward to her famous macaroni and cheese, her delicious Italian cream cake and divine sweet potato pie. She cherished time spent with loved ones around the table, where laughter and stories were always shared.
In retirement, she spent weeks traveling and spending time with her children out of state. Spending time with family was one of her favorite things to do. She had a special sense of humor that most people never saw, and we all have our own special Mom, Mama, Gramma story. That laughter behind those stories will comfort us for years to come. Thank you, Mom, for your special way of loving and caring for us. May generations to come know the essence of you. Thank you for your prayers, your strong faith and belief that, no matter what, God would take care of things and He would fix it.
Mom loved singing in the choir at church; she looked forward to the annual church trip to Nashville. She loved being on her tablet watching reels, listening to gospel music and watching primetime TV shows.
