Maria “Lupe” B. Vasquez passed away on March 3, 2021 after a brief illness.

Lupe is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Manuel “Manny” Vasquez; parents, James “Santiago” and Virginia Ortiz Brown; sister, Elizabeth B. Luderus; and son-in-law, David Kalnasy, Sr.

Left to mourn her are her brother, James Brown; children, Joseph, Rupert and wife Jahnie, Cynthia, and Richard; nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 8, at 1:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in her memory to St. Joseph's Indian School or a charity of your choosing.
