Mary Frances Sanders, 88, was born on December 27, 1928 in Minden, LA to Glover and Gladys Sanders and passed away peacefully on May 6, 2017. She graduated from Minden High School and Northwestern State University with a Bachelors Degree. Mary Frances had a career as a Lab Technician and worked at P & S Hospital. She enjoyed bowling for many years. Mary Frances was a faithful member of Shreve City Baptist Church.
Mary Frances was a wonderful person who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Mary Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Glover and Gladys Sanders; brother, Glover Sanders, Jr.; and aunt and uncle, Betty and Dick Ingram.
Mary Frances is survived by her cousins, Linda Van Zile and husband Tom, Debbie Anderson and husband Wayne; sister-in-law, Sandra Sanders; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services for Mary Frances will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Park on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Gene Nix of Shreve City Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be held at Hill Crest Funeral Home prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
