Mary Louise Spencer

A celebration of life service for Mary “Louise” Spencer, 87, will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 2:00 pm with Bro. Jerry Burnaman and Bro. Tommy Patton officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, October 21, 2010 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Mary “Louise” Spencer was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed sewing and making quilts, cooking and making sweets for her friends and family. Louise was a great Christian woman and loved to read and study the bible.

Mrs. Spencer is preceded in death by her husband Marion Spencer. She is survived by her; daughter, Marilyn and husband Bill Duckworth, of Benton, LA, son, Robert E Spencer and wife Carla, of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, Stephen Duckworth and wife Heather, David Duckworth, Melissa Bienvenu, and Kristen and husband Dusty Barrick; great-grandchildren, Caden and Avery Barrick, Jackson, Savannah, Madeline, and Austin Duckworth and Haley Bienvenu.

Pallbearers will be Jim Krutza, Hilmon Mitchell, Gary Pearce, John Anderson, Stephen Duckworth and David Duckworth.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Agape Hospice, Garden Court Nursing Center, and Dr. Leslie Sewell.
