Mattie Eva Moore

Funeral services will be conducted for Mattie Eva Moore on Monday August 13, 2018 at 11:00am at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Bro. George Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will begin Sunday from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the funeral home.

Mattie Eva Moore was born April 22, 1925 in Leake County, MS to parents Mary Roberts and Walter Moore.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alton M. Moore; brothers, Ewell, Lawrence, Kelva, Levon and Ned Moore; sisters, Lou Ella Tucker, Nettie Jones and Nell Godwin and grandson, Michael Moore.

She is survived by four sons, Fred Michael Moore and wife Mary of Shreveport, Wayne Alton Moore and wife Charlene of Elm Grove, Keith Lowe Moore and wife Judy of Ruston and Walter Ellis Moore and wife Kay of Doyline; daughter, Ann Michelle Meredith of Florida and brothers, Marcus Moore of Newton, MS, fourteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Mrs. Moore’s grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
