Maureen Ann Ryan went to be with Jesus on Sunday, June 12, 2022. A celebration of life service will be held Friday, June 17, 2022 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Haughton, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the service will start at 2:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Dr. Gevan Spinney, Pastor of First Baptist Church in Haughton, Louisiana.
Maureen was born on April 7, 1947 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was the daughter of Robert "Bob" Ryan and Mildred Bystedt Ryan. She grew up in Benton, Louisiana and graduated from Benton High School. She worked at the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office for 16 years. Maureen loved her family and friends, and her Sunday School class at First Baptist in Haughton. She was a sweet and loving person. She always had a positive attitude. She will be greatly missed.
Maureen was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Donna Ryan Charchio, and her brother, William "Bill" Ryan. She is survived by her son, William Joseph Ryan; and her brother Bo Ryan and wife Renee; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
