Nancy Twilligear

ALEXANDRIA, LA – A rosary service for Nancy Nell Twilligear will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018 followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Father Joseph Ampatt officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Nancy was born on April 16, 1941 in Ville Platte, LA to Ortor and Lilly (Ardoin) Soileau. She was a wife, mother and homemaker. She attended St. George Catholic Church in Coushatta, Louisiana. She served as a Lay Eucharistic Minister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, John Tilden Soileau, her sister, Priscilla Ann Soileau, and her first-born son, Steven Joseph Twilligear.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 57 years, Roger Wayne Twilligear, her sons, Paul Douglas (Cindy) and Michael Wayne of Colfax, LA, her daughter-in-law, Taneeya Twilligear of Long Beach, CA, a grandson, John Paul Scott of Elm Grove, LA, three granddaughters, Tisha Shoemate-Aguilar (Augustine) of Killeen, TX, Hannah Twilligear and Brianna Twilligear of Jacksonville, NC and seven great-grandchildren.
