A visitation for Nicole will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel in Haughton, followed by a celebration of life at 3:00 pm. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
Nicole was born on September 22, 1974 to Martin Lee Brown and Effie Montgomery in Fort Smith, AR. She attended Alma High School and graduated from Pleasant View High School in 1992 where she was crowned Homecoming Queen. Nicole graduated from LSU Shreveport in 2020 receiving her Bachelor of Science in Business. She joined the United States Air Force in 1993. Serving 20 years, she retired honorably in 2013. Nicole loved all sports but softball was her favorite. She even played well into her pregnancy with daughter, Maelee. She was a cheerleader and even dabbled in the rodeo during her high school days. Nicole loved being around her family and friends. Whether it was hanging out at the house, enjoying the pool or visiting relatives in Arkansas, she cherished these moments.
Nicole loved all children, everybody's children were her children too. She loved teaching in the Special Education Department at Parkway High School. The stories she shared with everyone about her students were wonderful. Nicole's true passion was her children. She loved being at the ball fields, dance studios, gyms and competitions. She was their biggest supporter and always made sure they had what they needed. Rain or shine, hot or cold, she was going to be there. She shared a special bond with each of them that will last forever.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Effie Montgomery (1989); grandfather, Odell Brown (2012); and cousins, Cole Michael Greenfield (2014) and Chris Mayhew (2023).
Nicole is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Conway; children, Trent Hubbard, Maelee Geter, Kaleigh Conway, Keely Conway; father, Martin Brown; brother, Jason Brown; aunt, Elaine Greenfield; close friend Jeff Blackwell; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Honoring Nicole as pallbearers will be Daniel Conway, Trent Hubbard, Darris Spinks, Doriell Walker, Aaron Gomez and Jackson Barrett.
The family would like to thank all the family and friends that have shown support and helped with everything.
