Peter Francis Wright

Born in Brooklyn, New York, on November 10, 1942, Peter proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for over 20 years, retiring in 1983. After his military career, he continued to work in various roles, including his final position at Fibrebond in Minden, Louisiana.

Peter was a man of warmth, generosity, and loyalty. In his younger years, he loved to bowl, and he was known for his talent for cooking and barbecuing — always eager to fire up the grill for friends and family. If you were lucky enough to share a meal at the Wright residence, you weren’t just a guest — you became part of the family.

Peter is survived by his loving wife of over 59 years, Diane Livingston Wright; sons, Bruce Edwin Wright and partner Pam Jones, Sean Gregory Wright and wife Amanda Ewing Wright; grandsons, Caeleb Delane Adams and partner, Kiajah Vaughan and Austin Marshall Wright; great grandson, Jaxxon Elijah Wright, as well as several special nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Alicia Dawn Wright.
