Celebration of Life services for Rhonda Sue Kay, 54, will be held 2:00pm, Monday, April 26, 2010 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home with Father Matthew Long officiating. Interment will follow in the Hill Crest Memorial Park, Haughton, Louisiana. The family will be receiving friends for visitation Monday, April 26, 2010 from 12:00pm until the time of service at Hill Crest.

Rhonda Sue Kay was born February 10, 1956 in Shreveport, Louisiana and was called home April 22, 2010. Rhonda will always be remembered as a loyal wife, loving mother, doting grandmother, sincere sibling, and caring friend to all who knew her.

Rhonda is preceded in death by her mother; Lucille Waters Bartley, and a daughter; Kristy Jo Horton.

Left to cherish her memories and tell her story will be her beloved husband; Waymond “Pappy” Kay, her father; Joe L. Bartley, one son; Rodney Horton and wife Tracey, two daughters: Deborah Kay, and Jamie Smith and husband Clifford, one sister; Jo Nell Pfingsten and husband (Roland), ten grandchildren: Crystal, Brandy, April, Hunter, Taylor, Jacob, Reece, Hayden, Chase, and Brandon, three great-grandchildren: Jacse, Hunter and Abrianna along with a host of extended family members and many loving friends.

Honoring Rhonda as pallbearers will be Dallas Niette Jr., Paul Pfingsten, Mark Powell, Todd Long, Luke Briley, and Jeff Shepherd. Honorary pallbearers will be Roland Pfingsten and Ben Thomas.
