Robert Lee Benefield

Bob was born in Senatobia, MS on August 10, 1944. He married Mary Benefield on June 27, 1970. Bob was a Vietnam war veteran and proudly served in the United States Air Force for 23 years. He was also a member of the Hap Arnold #457 Masonic Lodge, 32nd degree Scottish Rite, and a Shriner in El Karubah Temple. Bob had a passion for hunting, fishing and old westerns.

Left to cherish Bob's memory is his wife of 53 years, Mary Benefield; two daughters Karen Germany, spouse Greg Germany, and Debbie Tyler, spouse Royal Tyler Jr.; five grandchildren, Cody Germany, Maggie Germany, Claudia Tyler, Annie Tyler and Heidi Tyler; two sisters, Janice Vastine and Nancy Ball along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert joins in Heaven his parents, Joe and Mable Benefield and two brothers Billy Benefield and Hoyet Benefield.

A visitation for Robert will be held Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home & Park, 601 Highway 80 East, Haughton, Louisiana 71037, followed by a funeral service at 2:00pm.
