

Robert "Bob" Holdsworth, 74 of Benton, La. passed away suddenly October 11th, 2015. He was born in Rochester, NY on June 24th, 1941 to Chester and Leila Holdsworth. He was married to Judy Bates Holdsworth for 30 years until her death in 2001, then to Karen Chavanne Holdsworth for 6 years until her death in 2009. He knew great love. He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, and two brothers Bud and Dick Holdsworth.
Bob had a career in tractor parts for over 30 years. He had a passion for old movies, collecting quarters, and his companion dog Pepe who was by his side for 16 years until January 11th, 2015.
He is survived by son Terry Holdsworth (Zenita Tate), daughter Tammy Anderson (Randal Leger), six grandchildren Jesse and wife Deanna Anderson, Layne and Zachary Leger, Ashley Holdsworth, Jamie and Ronnie Tate, three great grandchildren, Rileigh, Jaxon, and Darcy Ann. Brother Ted Holdsworth, Sister Helen Brassie, two brother in laws Roy and Randy Bates, two sister in laws Joyce Holdsworth and Janis Bates, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 1 p.m. October 24th, 2015 at Hillcrest Memorial Park. For our family members far away please join us in prayer at 1 p.m. for our beloved daddy. Our daddy meant more to us than we have words for. He was bright, kind, and very witty. We can only hope as a family to carry on his legacy of those traits and make him proud of us
