Rona D Dawson

Rona was born in Marlow, England in 1938, unto the union of Margaret and Richard Harris. Rona was raised in a military family and moved to Bossier City, Louisiana in 1974. She worked for CBS toys until her retirement. She enjoyed bowling and loved to play bingo at the Bingo Halls in Shreveport and Bossier.

Rona joins in Heaven her husband, Bobby Dawson; son, Robert Dawson; daughter, Jane James; grandson Joe Balistrella; and daughter, Rona Dawson.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Maggie Norman and her husband Hal Norman; son, Richard Dawson and his fiancée, Jamie Dean; sister, Sue Grant and her husband Mark Grant; grandchildren Brandon Dawson, Katie Dawson and Hailee “Honey Bun” Dawson; and great grandchildren Kaden Dawson and Elliand Dawson.

Graveside service for Rona will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 beginning at 10am at Hill Crest Memorial Park in Haughton, Louisiana, with Bro. Ron Johnson, presiding.

We can no longer see you with our eyes but we will feel you in our hearts forever. We love you Mom, as you loved us, with all our hearts.
