Ruth trusted in the Lord, using His word (the Bible) as a guide for her life. She insisted on being at the church building when worship services and bible classes were offered. She read her bible almost everyday, even when in the nursing home. She would ask, “Why am I still here, and I would tell her that she is touching the lives of many people even now.” Even today she will be an influence on people who knew her, as to how they should live their lives. She always put God first, family second knowing all else would take care of itself.
