Sandra Kaye Reeves Baugh of Shreveport was called to her eternal home on February 11, 2021 after battling cancer. She was born on September 12, 1950 in Dallas Texas, grew up in Bossier City, LA and is a 1968 graduate of Bossier High School.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 45 years, Warren Sam Baugh of Shreveport; daughter and son-in-law, Megan and Nicholas Smith of Katy, TX; grandson, Duke Smith; and granddaughter, Sadie Smith, both of Katy, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Reeves and Eric Fountain, both of Natchitoches, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Doris Reeves of Bossier City, LA.
After 40 Years of state service, Sandra retired in 2017 from the Social Security Disability Determinations office in Shreveport. She loved traveling, reading books, sewing, painting pictures, attending Sunday school, and talking to her many friends and relatives. She especially enjoyed seeing her grandchildren and sharing her fond memories of them to everyone. Her friends knew Sandra as being caring, loyal, and supportive. She will be greatly missed.
Because of the covid-19 pandemic, a private service will be held at the gravesite.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to the American Cancer Society.
