Steven Wall Lowe

A Memorial service celebrating the life of Steven Wall Lowe, 59, will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 10:00 a.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel in Haughton with Bryan Reed officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18, 2014 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Steve was born November 2, 1954 in Minden, LA to Finis Lucien “Skeeter” and Mary Beth Wall Lowe, and passed away on August 14, 2014.

Steve was raised in Mansfield, LA and graduated from Mansfield High School. He was a licensed Real Estate Agent and Broker at Diamond Realty & Associates. He also thoroughly enjoyed teaching Real Estate classes at Bossier Parish Community College. For many years prior to his real estate career, he was a distributor for Safeguard Business Systems.

For a lengthy time in his younger years, he served as a volunteer fireman in Terrytown, LA and Haughton, LA. At one point he was honored to serve as Fire Chief for Bossier Parish Fire District #1. He was active in Simple Church and a member of their LIFE Group, Simple Fools.

Preceding Steve in death were his parents. He is survived by his children, daughter Christy Martin and husband Ben of Magnolia, AR; son Brad Lowe and wife Emily of Haughton; daughter Amy Randall and husband Jacob of Bossier City; grandchildren, Hannah Martin, Tucker Martin, Gretchen Martin, Nathan Lowe, Benjamin Lowe, Isabelle Randall, Nicholas Randall; brother Dave Lowe of Perryville, AR; aunt Velma Knowles of North Richland Hills, TX; aunt Betty Wise and husband Gayle of Shreveport, LA; aunt Mildred Wall of Sibley, LA, and best bud Boudreaux.
