Sylvia Jean Bowman

BOSSIER CITY LA- Services for Sylvia Jean Bowman, 74, will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel on Saturday, February 22, 2013, at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Keith Garvin officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel.

Sylvia was born on October 27, 1939 in Tampa Florida and passed away on February 17, 2014 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother. She had a big heart which led her to wanting to feed and help people less fortunate than her. Her grandchildren were the love her life. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Aqulino and Lillian Graham Perez; her husband of 53 years, Wilfred “Rusty” Bowman. She leaves behind sons, Russell Bowman and Kristina, Andrew Bowman and wife Stefanie and Stephen Bowman and wife Cynthia; daughter, Lynne Watson and husband Jim; sisters, Eleanor Stalnaker and Patty Nacol and husband David; brother, Manuel Perez and Sue; grandchildren, Matt Watson, Darren Bowman, Lauren Bowman, Jared Bowman, Andrew Russell, Chloe Garza and Bella Garza.
