Sylvia Ann Hicks

PRINCETON, LA – Services celebrating the life of Sylvia Ann Walker Hicks, 74, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 6, 2016 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Rev. Douglas E. Fullenwider officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, June 5, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sylvia was born in Houston, TX to Garlin and Emma Walker. She spent 54 years lovingly serving as the proud wife of an Assemblies of God Pastor. Her greatest loves were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rev. Donald C. Hicks and brother Charles Walker. Sylvia is survived by her daughters Donita Hicks and dear friend Dennis Morris, Jan Barron and husband Kurt, Sarah Brigdon and husband Floyd and Rebecca Hicks; sisters Garline Walker and husband Al and Deborah Tinsley and husband Mike; grandchildren, Jeffery, Mandi, James, Christina, Chelsie, Joshua, Isaac, Brittany, Andrew, Zach and Celeste, eight great grandchildren, Jazzy and many other family members and friends.
