

Services for Thomas "Buddy" Waggoner will be 2:30 PM Tuesday September 21, 2010 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Rev. Melton Prothro, pastor emeritus, Haughton First Baptist Church officiating. Interment with millitary graveside rites will be in Hill Crest Memorial Park and the family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Monday.
Buddy was born May 12, 1936 in Atlanta, GA to parents May Bell (Dougherty) and Cooper William Waggoner and passed away September 17, 2010 in Bossier City, LA. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War serving on a mine sweeper and an aircraft carrier as an electrical engineeer. Buddy was a member of Haugthon First Baptist Church and was Maintenance Superintendent at Holy Angels School.
Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Mary Elizabeth Waggoner, and brother Bobbie Waggoner. He is survived by his three sons, Buddy Waggoner and wife Tammy of Haughton, Eddie Farris and wife Sharon of Mansfield, Richard Farris and wife Melissa of Bossier City, sister, Mary Elizabeth David of Wylie, TX, sister-in-law, Betty Waggoner of Shreveport, brothers, Jackie Waggoner and wife Becky of Bossier City, Kenneth Waggoner and wife Ramona of Waco, TX, Joe Waggoner and wife Sylvia of Alabama, Jerry Waggoner and wife Debbie of Las Vegas, NV, grandchildren, Cody Waggoner, Robbie Simmons, SPC Jacob Farris, Lindsaye Farris, Candice Farris, Kyle Farris, Aaron Meyers,Taylor Meyers and one great grandchild Trey Simmons.
Pall Bearers will be Buddy Waggoner, Eddie Farris, Richard Farris, Michael Stacey, Thomas Waggoner, and Curtis Waggoner. You may share your condolences with the family at www.hillcrestmemorialfuneralhome.com.
