Veronica J. Dunn

She was born in Conifer, PA, on August, 9, 1912, to the late John and Anna Dutch.

Veronica was a strong, sassy, independent woman that worked hard her entire life. She lived in Las Vegas for 25 years working as a telephone operator, working at large hotels and hearing many interesting conversations on the switchboard. She loved Las Vegas, the shows, and bingo!!

Veronica is survived by two children; Susan Wright, and Leland Dunn; grandchildren, Jamie Jett, Jackie Jett-Milam and husband Terry, Arnie McCollister, Linda McCollister, Kelly Moore, and Daniel Wright; and a host of great & great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, John Dutch; sisters, Anna Batchelor, Mary Warren, Joanna Gushard, Elizabeth O'Day,

and Evelyn Getty; and daughter, Janet Jett and her husband Jerry Jett.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 12, 2014, at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 12:15 p.m. prior to the service.
