Graveside services to honor the life of Walter Edward Davis, Jr., 83, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 16, 2021, at Hill Crest Memorial Park, officiated by Bro. Jeremy Long. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home prior to the service.
Walter was born on August 18, 1937, in Fulton, Missouri and passed away on August 12, 2021, just missing his 84th birthday by a few days. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force, retiring after twenty years as TSgt. Walter was also a “Jack of all Trades” and had owned several different local businesses.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Pearly Ann Davis; two brothers, Wallace Davis and Joe Love; sister, Dickie; and his parents, Walter and Annie Davis. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Walter Daniel Davis and wife Shelby, Robert Glenn Davis and wife Brenda, and Stanley Edward Davis and wife Patricia; sisters, Juanita Lou DeBrodie and husband Donald, and Oletta Robinette; nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Jesse Davis, Mike Davis, Nicholas Davis, Alex Davis, and Justin King.
