

Bossier City – Warren D. Milks, 89, passed away on February 7, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Brother Billy Pierce officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 10, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Milks served his country during WWII as a supply Sgt. for the USMC. He owned and operated the Neon Mill in Bossier City for over forty years until his retirement. Warren was a member of Waller Baptist Church. He enjoyed working in his shed, fixing things around the house, and watching football in his favorite chair.
He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Luke Milks, mother Ethele Frances Runyon, eight siblings, wives Virginia Lee Henry Milks and Dorothy Irene Gleason Rodgers Milks.
He is survived by his brother Conrad Milks and wife Sylvia of Florida and sister Pauline Harris of Kentucky, sons Warren Thomas Milks of Bossier City, Mark Anthony Milks of Homer, LA, step-son Charles Rodgers and wife Dianne of Haughton, LA, grandchildren Carie Barnard and husband Fred of Kansas City, MO, Beckie Fohl and husband Byron of Haughton, LA, Adam Rodgers, David Rodgers and wife Whitney of Haughton, six great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Fred Barnard, Byron Fohl, Adam Rodgers, David Rodgers, Charles Rodgers, and Lonnie Calais. Honorary pallbearers include Mark Anthony Milks and Warren Thomas Milks.
