William Tilman “Billy” Beauregard, age 64, of Benton, Louisiana, passed away on May 9, 2025. He was born on January 21, 1961, in Shreveport, Louisiana, as the last child and only son of Tilman Aloysius “Bubba” Beauregard and Betty Gay Shepherd Beauregard.
Billy was a man of great passion and inspiration, and nowhere was it more evident than when he was teaching in Bible schools all over the world. Billy was literally a world traveler from Louisiana to Ukraine. He would spend many years sharing the life-changing message of Jesus with anyone who would listen, and through a personal testimony of grace and mercy, he was able to help many to know who they truly were in Christ.
Billy loved to tell how Jesus changed his life and wanted everyone to know how he could also change theirs. A Father not only to his children but to anyone who had need, Billy lived the life he preached about. Billy left a legacy of love to his wife, his children, and all who were fortunate enough to meet the man who was absolutely sold out to Jesus.
He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Beauregard; his sisters, Dixie Beauregard Callahan and Kathy Beauregard Harvey (Jimmy); and his children, Amber Miller (Jude) of Lafayette, LA, Zane Beauregard of Lafayette, LA, Diana Nesteruk (Viacheslav) of Charlotte, NC, Justin Holtby of Shreveport, LA, and Samantha Vaughan (Jayme) of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Troy, Gunner, and Waylon Vaughan, Sylis Beauregard, and Nathan and Naomi Nesteruk.
A funeral service will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, located at 601 US-80, Haughton, LA 71037, on May 20th at 11:00 a.m. You may visit the family one hour prior to Billy’s service.
A reception will follow at Life United, located at 4417 Meriwether Rd, Shreveport, LA 71109.
