

BOSSIER CITY, LA – A memorial Service celebrating the life of William “Bill” Stinson, Jr. will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Bro. Billy Pierce officiating.
Bill was born in Richmond, VA on November 13, 1947. He served in the US Army Reserves. His family’s was one of the first pioneer families to settle in Bossier Parish and Bill was in the first graduating class of Airline High School in 1965. He was a business owner and entrepreneur for most of his life, but his pride and joy were his three girls and grandchildren. He loved to travel with friends and family. He had many outdoor hobbies, such as, motorcycle riding, skiing, camping, and scuba diving.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mary Louise and William Stinson, Sr. and brother-in-law, William B. Brown.
Bill is survived by daughters, Annette Taylor and husband Kevin, Angel Stinson, Georgiana Tarantino and husband Brandon; grandchildren, Jarrett Taylor, Britlyn Spataro, Danielle Lombardino, Ashdon Taylor, Kara Taylor, Jackson Todd, Abram Tarantino, Jon David Tarantino, Charles “Carson” Geuin; sisters Libby Toms and husband Larry “Coach” and Anne Brown; nephews, Wayne Toms and Bill Brown and niece Emily Brown Haddock.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Toms, Bill Brown, Larry Toms, David Watkins, Tommy Wilson, and all of his grandsons and sons-in-law.
