An avid bridge player and high-heel wearer, Elaine was a beloved wife
to the late Horace "Eddie" Meyer and the late Hyman Glasgall, and
sister to the late Kenneth Lasser. She was a loving mother to Douglas
and his late wife Jill, and the late Brett and his wife Patricia and
also a caring and generous grandmother to Sara, Damon, and Elizabeth
Meyer, and Emily Jacobs and husband Daniel - and an affectionate
"great-grandmother" to the four-legged Isabella.
Elaine had an unceasing desire to see every corner of the world, and
her eyes would light up when she spoke of her journeys. She always
returned bearing gifts and stories.
A graveside service will be held Sunday 11:30 am at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
