And there he is-second row right....Almost 60 years ago.  We all seemed to be friends at Stevenson School sharing how to grow up.  Condolences to Bobby.  So hard to lose a brother.

Dick Greenwood was a pal for a very long time.
We both came to the business through our fathers, each of whom was a strong and charismatic personality.  We had big shoes to fill.  Dick earned his stripes many times over, as a board member, President, and advisor to the AGTA as well as so many other board roles and volunteer duties throughout our industry that I wonder how he managed to wear so many hats so very well for so long.
But it was his measured, thoughtful leadership and counsel that earned him the respect and trust among all who knew him, employees, clients, peers.  
A dry and incisive wit, a love for a good discussion, and a keen eye for the basics of our business in natural colored gems made him a tough man to best in a negotiation.  He knew what he wanted and he never wavered from his conviction.
And, he'd let you down easy.  He never beat you up in a negotiation, you wanting to sell and he never letting you know he wanted to buy.  So, he knew the art of the deal.
To Trudy and the family, this was a loss that will be so hard to manage for some time to come.  I and all of us who knew and cared for Richard Greenwood send our love and prayers that Trudy and the family will look to one another and all the friends who care for them and for the memory of Dick Greenwood.  We'll miss him for sure, but we'll all pitch in to help our community, just as Dick was always willing to do. 
May our friend forever rest in peace.

Heart  Broken! Very fond memories of him from about 1953-1960! The 4 of us, my late brother Harry, and his brother, had lots of fun with his Mom & Dad, in their back yard.

Really i miss my good friend he was very friendly and very helpful in my business and my career . I am coming all the way from sri Lanka when ever i travel to states i visit him and he keeps on buying something  even when he has no need of it . Our hearts go out to you and your family. Although I don’t know exactly what to say, I want you to know that I am with you in thought and wish you comfort and peace as you remember Richard Greenwood . 

Dick  will be missed by many, admired as an industry icon and leader, dedicated to ethics and professionalism .  Shalom...
