I just found out today from LInda about Sally's passing and I am so sad.  We have been friends for almost 40 years and still kept in touch if only via phone or text messages.  She loved being a nurse and loved her animals, both with a passion that you rarely see.  I will miss her and will continue to think of her often.  She was a great person and caring soul.  

I worked with Sally for several years at Carney Hospital in Boston. She was an incredible nurse, always kind and compassionate and gave her best to every patient. We became friends and continued our friendship after we both left Carney. Sally was a great friend, always offering kindness and support. She usually showed up with a treat, always a birthday cake and her friendship will stay with me.  She loved her pets with all her heart. I will miss you my friend, Rest In Peace. Love, Sharon

Sally was my best friend in college.  We lived in the same dorm when I was a freshman and she was a sophomore.  She took me under her wing in many ways.  When she moved off campus junior year she invited me over many times for dinner to make sure I had a home cooked meal.
She was very giving and selfless.  I remember in my junior year I was driving back to Boston at midnight after visiting a friend in another college.  My car broke down about an hr or so north of Hartford.
Sally and her sister Linda picked me up at 3 in the morning and took me back to their parents home.
She will be missed.
