Richard Martin Miller

Richard Martin Miller was born on October 11, 1945 in Waukegan, Illinois to parents Arnold and Betty (Bellows) Miller. Rich was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, and on October 24, 1975, was united in marriage to Patricia Hall in Waukegan. In 1998, the couple retired to Hayward from Lake Villa, Illinois where he enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, boating, and gardening. Rich also enjoyed RV-ing, gadgets of current technology, was an avid Bears fan, and engaging in good conversation.

Rich died on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at his home surrounded by family after a long, valiant battle with cancer at the age of 66.

Rich is survived by his wife Pat of Hayward, WI, children: Richard Spiegel of Marana, AZ, Judy (Marvin) Spence of Dyersberg, TN, David (Mary) Stupey of Hayward, WI, Laura (Timothy) Hering of Spooner, WI, Audrey (Joseph) Hendrix of Alden, IL, Bradley Lindwall of Lake Villa, IL, 5 grandchildren: Danielle S., Danielle M., Brandy, Scott, Emily, brothers and sisters: David (Edith) of Hayward, WI, Judy (Tom) Van Haecke of Chino Valley, AZ, Roger of Lake Villa, IL, Barry of Kenosha, WI, Michael of Tucson, AZ, Robert (Tracy) of Fox Lake, IL, Brian of McHenry, IL, Arnold (Allen) of McHenry, IL, mother in law Lila Hall of Hayward, WI, and many nephews and nieces.

Rich is preceded in death by his parents, sisters in law: Maggie and Annette, and father in law George Hall.
