Alice Marie Smith

Alice Marie Smith, 71 of San Jacinto, California passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet, California. She was born on Monday, July 5, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Willard and Iva "McGough" Robbins. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years , Richard Smith on July 19, 2012. Alice is survived by her son, Calvin Smith, daughter-in-law Debbie and her two grandsons Charles and Cordel Smith, brother Silas Robbins and sister-in-law Dotti. Alice was very active in The Olive Branch Church and was a member of the woman's group. She was known in the San Jacinto Valley for her expertise in baking cakes for all occasions. Her family describes her as very creative and out going. Alice was loved by her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her. A viewing will be held 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday November 11th at Miller-Jones Mortuary- Hemet located at 1501 W Florida Ave, Hemet, CA followed by a Funeral Service on Wednesday, November 12th at 10:30 with interment at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery, San Jacinto, CA.
