October 15, 1929 – September 6th, 2019

Visitation for Amelia Soriano, 89, will be from 8 am – 12 pm on Friday, September 20, 2019, at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd, Moreno Valley, CA 92553 (Phone # 951-485-4542). Services will be held at the same place from 12pm – 1pm. Burial will be at the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518 (Phone # 951-653-8417) at 2 pm.

Passed away on September 6th, 2019 due to deteriorating health in Moreno Valley, CA. Amelia, aka Meling, was born in Balanga, Bataan, Philippines. She was an elementary school teacher until she married and became a dutiful wife and mother. She lived in Moreno Valley, CA with son, Stanley, his wife, Michelle, their children Christopher and Mary, and daughter, Sharon. She is preceded in death by husband, Jose, and son, Stephen. She is survived by daughters Sharon and Sylvia, son Stanley, daughters-in-law Cora and Michelle, son-in-law Bennett, grandchildren Trixie, Teri, Erica, Fred, Christopher, and Mary, grandchildren-in-law David and Cheryl, great grandchildren Daniel, David, and Michelle, sister Ampy, brother Bert, and also many relatives and friends. Amelia has lived a full life and God has blessed her in so many ways. She will truly be missed and will remain in our hearts forever. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Stan, Michelle, CJ, and Mary for their compassionate care and support during Mom’s difficult times.
