Andrew D. Verdugo, 46, of Hemet, CA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on September 23, 2016, after a long battle with Brain cancer (Glioblastoma Multiforme). Born September 26, 1969, in Los Angeles, CA, to Dianne and Edward Verdugo. He graduated from Hemet High School in 1988, shortly after graduation he began his 26 year career with the US Forest Service, starting at Ryan Air Attack, Keenwild Helitack, Vista Grande Hotshot, and Captain BDF Engine 56.
Andrew is survived by his wife, Suzanne, daughters, Shoshana Ybarra , of Long Beach, CA and Ariana Verdugo, of Hemet, CA. Andrew is also survived by his parents, Edward and Dianne Verdugo, of Hemet, CA, his sisters, Laura Verdugo (Mike Herman) of Hemet, CA and Camille (Kirk) Cloyd of Kelseyville, CA and several nieces and nephews.
