Arttaveo Lavell Burnett

Arttaveo Burnett(known to family and friends as Puff/Puffer), was an extraordinary man. He was a husband, a son, a dad, a god-dad, a brother, a grandfather, an uncle, a friend and so much more. He was not a perfect man, but anyone who had the opportunity to know him for even five minutes has experienced the love he had to offer. Whether he offered you a quick joke, a sick rhyme, or some solid advice, my dad had a lot of love to give, and he gave it freely, to any and everyone. He was born on January 16th 1968 to Alex Burnett Jr. and Darlene Williams, and has nine siblings; Alex Burnett lll-Effrum Burnett - Frank Burnett -Maurice Burnett-Allen Burnett -Charlotte Harris-Alexis Burnett- Alexandria Burnett-May Liza Burnett. At seventeen years old he met the love of his life, Phyllis Redding, and dedicated the next thirty-nine years to serving her in love. His children, Arttaveo Burnett ll, Monisha Burnett, and William Burnett, are his legacy and his grand-children, Arttaveo Burnett lll, Ashton Burnett, Tayanoel Burnett, Moses Burnett, Isaiah Burnett and Jahkobe Allen, are his beloved treasure. My dad was a man who believed deeply in his heart, that family could be and was anyone. I know he had many God-children, God-grand children, friends, and neighbors, and because of the man that he was, it is way too many names to include. However, we do want to include you all because he loved you all dearly. The family thanks you all for your love and support throughout this time, one love!

A memorial service for Arttaveo will be held Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory, 1501 W. Florida Avenue, Hemet, CA 92543.
