Aurelia Solano Sapien

Aurelia was born on July 9, 1938, in Escalon, California. Her parents were Issac and Ylaria Sapien. She was the seventh of ten sisters and two brothers. She is preceded in death by her father Issac Sapien and her mother Ylaria Sapien, and five older sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her four younger sisters, Josephine Sumaya, Yolonda Lopez, Reynalda Ramirez, and Maria Olivo. Aurelia worked alongside her parents in the produce industry until her retirement. Aurelia remained single her entire life, yet dedicated herself to helping family members raise countless children throughout her extraordinary life.

Aurelia was known to all of us as having the personal knowledge of every family member. She knew everyone's birthdate, anniversary date, and the dates of those who passed away. There was not anything about the family she did not know. She enjoyed telling stories of her childhood, working alongside her sisters, and the mischievous adventures they would get into. When it came time to go somewhere, Aurelia was always the first one at the door. She really enjoyed her trips to family parties, casinos, stores, and restaurants.

A funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Valley Roman Catholic Church in Hemet, California on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 10:30 in the morning, followed by a graveside service at San Jacinto Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her mother and father.
