Barbara Ann Messer, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014, in Sun City, California. She was born in Yarmouth, Iowa, April 8, 1926, to Alfred and Leona Stodgell Hingst.
Barbara leaves a large family, numerous nieces and nephews, and 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her family and large circle of friends, both in Iowa and California.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Menifee Valley Humane Society.
