

Belva Irene Miller, 93, passed away on Tuesday, March 03, 2020, in Moreno Valley, California. She was born on Monday, March, 15, 1926 in Sutton, West Virginia to her parents, Guy and Eva Evans. Belva was one of five children. Several years after high school, Belva went on to earn her Associate degree and later her nursing license. She worked as a licensed vocational nurse in Los Angeles for 20 years. While working as a busy nurse, Belva balanced being an amazing mother to her children. She was a seamstress in her early years. In fact, she made clothes for her children and even doll clothes for her daughter’s dolls. Belva also enjoyed crocheting, embroidery and camping. She was an avid reader and loved to cook. In her spare time, Belva was an artist. She had a real talent for painting scenery. Later in life, Belva married John Miller and together they were regular attendees of Hemet Christian Assembly. Belva was passionate about her Bible studies and readings. She was an amazing woman and will be missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Eva Evans, her son Aaron Coger, her husband John Miller, her brothers Charles Evans and Leon Evans and her sister Wanda Granadas. Belva is survived by her children and their spouses, Karen Coger, Letcher Coger Jr., Colin (Leigh) Coger, Autumn (Jay) Carey and Scott (Dolly) Coger, her sister Zora (Jerry) Bradley, eighteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and several great, great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet, California on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 2:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 3:00PM.
